There is still time to join in partnering with San Diego churches in “Prayer Wave” 2009, 40 days of concentrated prayer toward prayer and spiritual awakening in our cities, states, and nation. Contact me and I will put you in contact with San Diego churches who would love to partner with churches in your state.
Dr. Rick Shepherd, Director of Prayer and Spiritual Awakening of the Florida SBC... [has shared] with local church pastors about the positive impact of the “prayer wave” on Florida churches. Florida churches have joined together to seek the face of God and experience the gracious movement of His Spirit since 2004. In every area where churches have “intensified prayer”, they have experienced:
1. Increased unity
2. Increased creativity
3. Increased fruitfulness.
We pass on the challenge to you that he has been giving to us – as we look at the economy, government, weather, and all that is going on around us, this is the time to “intensify prayer” and call God’s people to return to Him.
